COPA DE ORO PRODUCTIONS - MISSION

Copa de Oro was officially established in January 2010 by Allan Sandler, Barry Garber and Roger Peace. The company was formed with the express vision of signing and presenting original musical and theatrical works for the legitimate theatre.

Although the company is relatively new, these three faces have been around a long time and represent a wealth of experiences in both the theatrical and musical arenas, both here in Canada and throughout the world.

Allan Sandler - CEO
Allan is a well known Quebec based producer of highly successful theatrical productions in both English and French languages. Among some of Allan's most successful productions are: "Chicago The Musical" in Montreal and Paris where it was nominated for Best Musical. "Grease", four productions in Montreal, nominated for seven «Les Masques» awards (including Best Musical) and awarded the «Billet Or» award. Grease was also produced in Toronto, Ont.. Other productions in Montreal include "Rent", "Les Cages aux Folles", "The Sisters Rosensweig" starring Gavin MacLeod and two productions of "Beau Jest" both at the Segal Centre...

Barry Garber - EXECUTIVE VP
Barry Garber has been a constant presence on the Canadian and international music and theatre scene for the past twenty plus years. A veteran talent agent (Celine Dion, Roch Voisine, Josh Groban and Carole King etc.) he continues to helm concert tours as a producer and talent consultant from Buenos Aires to Abu Dhabi. Garber started his career as an actor, then moved onto directing (Bonjour La Bonjour, Forever Yours Marie-Lou, Luv, Phantom of the Opera: The Play, Entertaining Mr. Sloane etc.) before becoming a full time theatre producer...

Roger Peace: Artistic Director
In a career spanning over 60 years Roger has been a producer, director, choreographer and writer for over 100 productions in Canada and the USA.
